Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee and manage all warehouse operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring that productivity targets are met and compliance with quality standards is maintained.
Key Responsibilities

Operational Management
- Plan, organize, and control warehouse operations to ensure accurate and timely receipt and dispatch of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits.
- Optimize space utilization and warehouse layout for operational efficiency.

Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Assign tasks and set clear performance goals for team members.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and accountability.

Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Implement procedures to minimize stock discrepancies and manage returns.
- Coordinate with procurement and sales teams for stock replenishment and forecasting.

Safety and Compliance
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct routine checks on warehouse equipment and address maintenance needs.
- Implement best practices for safe handling, storage, and transportation of goods.

Process Improvement
- Identify and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and adopt new technologies or methodologies to enhance performance.

Reporting and Communication
- Prepare regular reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and performance metrics.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints related to warehouse operations.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a warehouse manager or in a similar role.
Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of safety and legal regulations in warehousing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Additional Requirements
- Forklift operation certification (preferred).
- Ability to lift and move heavy items when necessary.
