CWDS draws on local and national expertise, intellect and scholarship towards fulfilling its objectives.<\/p>\n<p>The CWDS General Body is a policy-making and monitoring body which meets once a year to receive and review the Centre\u2019s annual activity. It approves the Centre\u2019s annual work plan and suggests new engagements. General Body members include academics, research scholars, administrators, public personalities and social activists.<\/p>\n<p>The CWDS Executive Committee on the other hand comprises academic and professionals in an honorary capacity to provide advice and direction in terms of institutional policy and governance, and the identification of new research areas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Centre is a membership-based research institute.
